No, because someone would have travelled back from the future by now.

NO
... because if it was someone would have come back from the future by now and told us.
Although, come to think of it I did sit next to a nutter on the bus the other day who said he was a spaceman!

Not like in Back to the Future.
There is a lot of work being carried out that the theorists say may be able to enable us to see the past at any given place and eventually with some degree of control over the date and time you can see.
But as for 'being' in the past, not a chance. Ever.
And the future can be disregarded altogether.

Theoretically anything is possible.
But in reality it is all a load of mumbo jumbo.

Alright, you've had your whinge on this thread, now fuck off and spam up every other conversation on the forum with "the idiocy on here amazes me", and "bizarre" and "you don't go to games".
Dull, grey, lard.

Yes already does. I seem to remember someone saying that if you travel to the international date line and back you loose a few seconds or something.

Re: Is time travel possible?

Yes, it happens quite a lot.
Travelling back in time is almost certainly impossible (at least for us) but travelling forwards in time is entirely possible and actually happens.
It's all wrapped up in relativity.
The astronauts on the International Space Station effectively travel in time as they age more slowly than people on earth.

I don't reckon it's impossible but they'll have to find away to rip a hole in the space continuum to find out
